Using a face scrub for exfoliation is one of those steps that seem like you can take it or leave it( you really can’t). However, if you want smooth healthy skin, regular exfoliation is a step in your routine you cannot avoid. There are two types of exfoliators: chemical and physical both of which remove dead skin cells to give your skin the J-Lo glow. Using a face scrub is a means of physical exfoliation.
Face scrubs generally work best for oily and dry skin because they buff away patches of dry skin and remove pore cloggers in oily skin. When dry skin patches are removed it changes the texture of the skin making it much smoother. For those with acne-prone skin chemical exfoliants (like salicylic acid and retinoid) tend to work better, unlike scrubs which may irritate skin with active breakouts.
Apart from making your skin look and feel smoother face scrubs can also soften fine lines and brighten your skin. To get the best results to face scrubs should be used at night 2-3 times per week. Just make sure you avoid your eye area which is super delicate and slather on your sun protection aka SPF 30 during the day. So without much ado here are some face scrubs which produce great results for every skin type.

My only qualm about this is the price at $23 it is a bit pricey for a face scrub.

This scrub combines charcoal with Dead Sea salts to take advantage of their benefits which detoxify your skin and removes blackheads.
