REVIEW: AMOKE REJUVENATING ROSEHIP OIL

My love for face oils is well documented particularly rosehip oil and I have never met one in didn’t like. Scratch that there is one I don’t like but that is not the reason for this conversation today. I was strolling through Instagram and noticed a very sleek and attractive bottle on doing further research I noticed it was a Nigerian brand and made a comment on how much I enjoyed a good Rosehip oil.  The brand very kindly decided to gift me with a bottle, since then I have used it consistently and I can give an honest review so let’s get started.

What it is

Amoke Rejuvenating Rosehip oil is a face oil and is made from an organic virgin Rosehip Seed oil. Rosehip seed oil is antioxidant rich and contains vitamins A,C and E all of which help protect the skin from free radicals and help maintain its elasticity.

What does it do

Apart from the normal benefits of face oil which help the skin retain its moisture, Rosehip seed oil has additional benefits.

Rosehip seed oil is perfect for oily and acne prone skin because it doesn’t clog the pores. It also reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation , scars as well as prevents wrinkles because it boost collagen production.

Appearance and packaging

Amoke Rosehip Seed Oil comes in a simple white secondary paper packaging which is extremely sleek and gives it a luxurious appearance. The oil itself is in a transparent 30 ml bottle with a dropper.  The oil itself has a marigold (yellow) colour which is visible through the bottle.

How to use

To get the best results I recommend you apply one to two pumps to your face at night after your moisturizer.  Warm it up in your palms and massage into your face using an upward motion .Since it is an oil It will not occlude your skin preventing mosture loss but will also make it much more supple and soft.
