One of my introductions to Korean skincare was through the SU: M37 brand which has a wide range of products. However one of its products with a cult-like status in the skincare community is the Su:m 37 miracle rose cleanser.
Features
Unlike most water-based cleansers which come in liquid form, this is a solid cleansing stick which functions like a soap. It is also specially formulated specifically for facial skin which is why it is so effective. As with most Korean beauty products it is made with fermented products which are keystone ingredients of Korean cosmetics. The SU:M37 cleansing stick is made from natural ingredients, including actual real raised petals, fermented Rose Extract, Glycerine, Coconut and Camellia Oil which hydrate and provide emollient properties making it a gentle and effective cleanser.
Appearance and Packaging
It comes in a dark red packaging and the product itself is in a light peachy-pink, a twist-up tube with a cap. When you open the tube proper you can see little flecks rose petals embedded in the cleanser that provides gentle exfoliation and adds to its charm. It has a light rose scent which is great if you do not like strongly scented products.
How to use
Dampen your skin with warm water then apply SU: M37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick to damp skin using one swipe of the stick, lather and cleanse as you would with an ordinary cleanser. Wash off with lukewarm water and follow with your regular skin routine.
If you like to double cleanse it can be used as either a first and/or a second cleanser because of its rich oils it is able to remove makeup with ease, including waterproof eye makeup. This cleansing stick is especially useful when travelling because it is a compact solid balm so will not leak in transit.
Results
This works great as a second cleanser due to its emollient properties but can also be used for the first cleanse as well. It is an extremely effective and gentle cleanser because it removes every speck makeup and still leaves the skin feeling soft. As a consistent double cleanser, I use this as my sole cleanser when I have to travel and need to keep my skincare products minimum.

I love this product and replace immediately I run out, there seem to be seasonal stock-outs at certain times of the year so availability may be an issue. I usually buy this product from Amazon from a Korean vendor or Beautytap and it takes about 10 days or more because it is shipped from Korea. Value for money is unmatched as a single tube lasts almost a year with regular use and does not lose its potency. Overall I would recommend as it is certainly worth buying and I have had a consistently great experience. It is worth noting that this product goes out of stock almost like clockwork yearly because of the seasonality of some of the ingredients used, so stock up when you find it and be patient it always comes back in stock.
