My goal for 2021 is ‘’THE GLOW’’ and I mean the glow for every part of my body. Since my face is almost on point, I decided to face my body squarely. I must say that the skin on my body is pretty banging I do not have many blemishes but I wanted to take it up a notch so I decided to get an exfoliating shower gel. Over the holidays when I was in the UK, I started using one, which left me feeling pretty underwhelmed, but since I had seen good reviews from the DANG page, I decided to try them and went ahead to order from the website.
What is it?
The exfoliating shower gel is a product that contains 5% glycolic acid. The website says
‘’’ glycolic acid that removes built-up layers of dead skin revealing smoother, brighter, firmer-looking skin. Among the easiest to penetrate the skin alpha hydroxy acids, Glycolic acid for skin is a hardworking multitasker that gently exfoliates for a brighter appearance’’.

What does it do?
This shower gel exfoliates which means it facilitates the removal of dead skin cells, which give your skin a dull appearance as well as reduce hyperpigmentation. Because glycolic acid is the smallest AHA by size it can penetrate much deeper giving you faster results, you can read more about glycolic acid and other AHAs here.
Appearance and packaging
The DANG shower gel came in a square turdy white plastic container with a pump; it did not have any secondary packaging. The container looks good with an ingredient list and expiry dates clearly placed at the back. The gel itself is clear and lotion like in consistency when pumped out.
How to use
This is simple you use as a normal soap; I wet my loofah sponge and apply one pump then wash my body. That is usually enough for my neck and torso, I then get another pump which I use for my legs.
One of things I like about it is that it feels like soap, some of the other exfoliating gels leave my skin feeling like it is not quite clean not this one. If you like the squeaky-clean feeling then this is for you.

- The pump, the pump is extremely important as it lets you get your product out without waste
- Nice smell (I got the white tea fragrance it was just enough and not overpowering
- The square shape makes it very easy to store in your bathroom without any incidents

Who is it for?
- Most skin types can use the DANG exfoliating shower gel with no issues, I have been using it for a month and my skin is ecstatic.

This excellent shower gel and to be honest beats the previous international /foreign shower gel I have used. The design of the square shape is perfect for the bathroom and the pump makes it easy to dispense with no waste. In addition, it gives me a great feeling after I shower.

It is excellent quality it came very well packaged and protected and some thought clearly went into choosing the shape of the container, which I appreciate.

The DANG shower gel is absolute value for money you get twice as much product it is 450 MLS at the same price or sometimes half the price of a foreign brand and still get the same results.

Did I mention the pump? Yes I did it is easy to use with no waste.

I would recommend this shower gel without reservations because it does exactly what it says it will do and is excellent value for money. I purchased the white tea scent and would be interested in testing out the Brandied Oud when it is available on the site. So run to buy the product and you will not regret it.
